STARTING A BUSINESS IN OAKLAND
Businesses operating within the Town of Oakland are required to obtain a privilege license, which is applicable to all for-profit businesses intending to conduct business for a continuous period of six (6) months or longer. The privilege license fees must be settled at Town Hall before the business opens and renewal is required for the duration of the business's activity.
The application for a privilege license can be obtained from the Oakland Town Hall.
Once the application is completed, it should be returned to the Oakland Town Hall along with the corresponding fee of $25.00.
